Welcome to my site
My name is Nelleke Siebert better known as Nelli.
Original from the Netherlands, I moved with my husband and two children to Ireland. I've lived in the west of Ireland in Co Clare from mid-1998 till September 2017.
At a very early stage we knew we wanted to have a kind of small-holding with animals, nature and plenty of space for our children to grow up.
Besides the usual like a dog and cats, we also had hens and sheep.
With sheep comes wool. Each year I sheared them by hand with a clipper. The wool was then spun, twined and washed and from this wool I created the products that I sold at the Milk Market in Limerick.
Since September 1st, 2017 I've ceased trading at the Milk Market because I moved to Spain. As a consequence I've no more sheep, no wool to spin hence no more woolly gifts to make and sell.
It has been a great pleasure to have been able to do this craft for 7 years. During these years, I've met many kind and interesting people, made some great friends, heard numerous stories, had thousands of pictures taken, sold many little sheep and other produce but above all, I had great pleasure in being there.
Now I started a new chapter "Feeling art in the Spanish sunshine".
- Emotions: looking into the world
- Different: from the heart
- Making it from love
- Sharing ideas
- Experiences
and feeling ........... Nelli's art
